This is a nice, sturdy macramé board made of natural cork. Cork is a natural material harvested from the cork oak tree in Portugal and is known for being very sustainable and environmentally friendly. It is completely biodegradable and can be recycled. Even the cork harvest benefits the environment: by removing the bark (also known as “stripping”), the cork oak tree can absorb 3–5 times more CO₂ than unharvested cork oaks.

This macramé board has a thickness of no less than 2 centimetres, so it will remain firmly in place on the table or another surface. With the 10 macramé pins included, you can easily secure your macramé creation as you work. Perfect for small to medium‑sized macramé projects and suitable for a wide variety of knotting, braiding, and weaving techniques.
