DIY Crochet Kit Japanese Knot Bag Rainbow

Inspired by the success of Ana D.'s original design Japanese Knot Bag, Hoooked Product Team didn’t resist transforming it into a colourful version, using 8 different colours of Eco Barbante Milano. It is named Japanese Knot Bag Rainbow.

Another sturdy crochet bag that you can use on every occasion – to go to a party, a cup of tea in the park or even as a project bag for other knitting and crochet projects.

This pattern is worked from the bottom up, in rounds. The bottom is worked in Noir, for 12 increases rounds, each of these rounds are closed with sl st. The colourful stripes are the body of the bag and have no increases. They are responsible for the height of the bag. Each of the six colours of the stripes, Cherry, Ultramarine, Jade, Curry, Brick and Ruby, are worked in spiral across six rounds. To complete the bag, both handles are worked in Almond.

Gauge

15 Xdc in 15 Rounds, for a tension swatch of 10 cm x 10 cm (4 in x 4 in), using a 5 mm crochet hook and Eco Barbante Milano Almond. If your swatch is smaller or bigger, we recommend using another size crochet hook to avoid deviations.
