DIY Crochet Pattern Sugar Beach Tank Top

This summer tank top is a great crochet pattern from the super hip Canadian crochet designer Daisy & Dime. The pattern is easy to adapt to your desired sizes and is suitable for anyone with an intermediate to advanced level of crochet experience.

The Sugar Beach Tank Top is constructed in two pieces, a front and back panel. The two panels are seamed up the sides, leaving room for the armholes. The yarn is reattached at the top edge of the tank top to create the decorative edging and tie straps, fastened off, then reattached again at the bottom to finish the hem (seam). Decorative tassels are attached to the ends of the tie straps if desired.

The yarn used for this DIY top is Hoooked Eucalyps. Eucalyps is a soft and silky plant-based yarn with a beautiful, subtle sheen. • 200 g (200 g, 300 g, 300 g, 400 g) Eucalyps in colour A
• 100 g (200 g, 300 g, 300 g, 400 g) Eucalyps in colour B
• XS (S, M, L, XL)
• 5 mm crochet hook
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors
• Stitch markers

Gauge:

Crochet 16 stitches (tr) and 10 rows for a tension swatch of 10 x 10 cm. If your swatch is smaller or bigger, we recommend using another size crochet hook to avoid deviations.
