DIY Crochet pattern Basket Yunnan

Making baskets is fun, it’s a beginner-friendly project and you end up with a useful item that’s nice to have at home. This crochet basket is cute and small, and super versatile! You can use it as a storage basket, plant pot, or simply as a decorative item. This pattern has 2 variations. You can take the Somen and Spesso yarn together at the moment you are going to make the body of the basket (version 1) or you can make pompoms with the Somen yarn to pimp your basket (version 2). It is entirely up to you which version you choose!

Size of project: Diameter approx. 22cm (8,66 inch) x hight approx. 23cm (9,06 inch)

What you need:

• Spesso Almond/ Spesso Teak (1x 500g (17,64 oz))
• Somen Avocado/ Somen Zucca (1x100g (3,53 oz))
• Crochet hook 8mm (US 11)
• Zpagetti darning needle
• Optional: 45mm pompom maker

UK = US
Double Crochet (dc) = Single Crochet (sc)
Half Treble (htr) = Half Double (hdc)
Treble (tr) = Double Crochet (dc)
